The wind is very predictable on the Lake for those interested in Skiing, Tubing, Windsurfing and Sailing. The lake is like glass every morning and about 10:00 a.m. a slight wind starts and grows through the morning and early afternoon until it dies back to glass by about 4:00 p.m. The house sits in a slight cove near Reliance Point that is somewhat protected from the wind so you usually have to paddle out about 25-50 feet from shore to get into the wind.

Great site for Weddings, Honeymoon, Family Reunion, Deer or Elk Hunting party, Horseback Riders ( we have a large paddock on site if you want to bring your own horses)

Spend the day enjoying the scenery, hiking, riding, blackberry picking, swimming, boating or just sunning yourself.

Just about 15 miles to the entrance of Mt Rainier National Park, where you can do some Biking, Hiking or Horseback Riding in the Elbe Hills.

More Riding and Hiking at Pack Forest or do it the easy way at EZ Times Horse Rental.
